Capped speed synchronisating with Revit Server

Hello,

I'm not sure i'm in the right forum, but anyways...

We recently insalled Revit server in our company and we are experiencing slow exchange of data between de local file and the revit server.

Doing general internet speed test we are around 1000Mbit/s but when loading and downloading the central file or the linked files the speed is capped at around only 7 Mbit/s.

I did the same test with the stadard collaboration (without Revit server) in a private cloud and the speed looks also capped, but at around 75 Mbits which is still not great, but at least 10x faster that with the Revit server.

We asked the IT departemnt to look into this but the are quite clueless about what it could be the reason.

For sure we have enough bandwitch

Someone has any ideas?

PS: Sorry for my englsih

This is not quite the right forum as it's dedicated to those programming with the Revit API, but make sure your using the Revit accelerator and setting up the RSN.ini file correctly.. Those can both have major impacts on speed.

Thank you for your answer.

Both the revit accelerator and the RSN file been verified and the problem persist.

I will ask in another forum to not pollute this one.
