Calculated value-field with formula

Hi everybody,

Does anyone know how to create a calculated field with a formula in a schedule??

I'm trying to create schedules via API, with field reading rebar parameters. No problems with the parameters fields, I can search for the parameterID and use it to create the field. My problem is that I can't create fields with calculated values.

I've been reading forums and nothing similar, usually the topic ends with a new way of finding the parameter, but no creating a new calculated field.

I need to create a field with de LargoTotal * constant.

Thank you very much in advance.

Best regards,

Hi everyone,

I am working on creating schedules programmatically in Revit using the Revit 2025 API. Adding fields for parameters works perfectly—I can retrieve the parameter IDs and use them to add fields to the schedule without any issues.

However, I need to add calculated fields with formulas in the schedules. For example, I want to create a calculated field that multiplies the "Reinforcement Volume" by 7850 to display the weight of the rebar. Unfortunately, I haven’t found any clear documentation or examples for this in the API.

Does anyone know if creating calculated fields with formulas is possible via the Revit 2025 API? If yes, could you provide an example or point me to the right resources?

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!
