Calculate the empty area around the element to add the IndependentTag

This is my Revision Cloud and I want to calculate the empty area around it to add the IndependentTag.
Of course, I can now add IndependentTag by selecting a point on the Revision Cloud with my mouse. But automatically adding the IndependentTag in the blank space is a little smarter, don't you think?
Is that possible? Is there an algorithm for that?
