I have to agree with you.  The user base of this forum has not reached critical mass to the point where you can reliably get an answer to a question.  The AUGI Revit API forum is about the same.  You should probably get an ADN membership if you are in a position where you need reliable API support.  I still use this forum first because I want it to grow into something useful--but if I don't get an answer in a reasonable amount of time-- I go to ADN.
