I'm student of the technical buildings course and participant of the NP-BIM research centre of the IFRN (Federal Institute of education, science and technology of Rio Grande do Norte), located in Brazil. We are getting deep in the studies about the automatic generation of pipe layouts in Revit mep and would like to know if the creation made by the software is performed randomly, just by connecting connection points without following any other parameters or if automatic generation is performed based on Parameters defined by the system. If there are BIM parameters, what are they and where can I find them?
