Anyone know how to encrypt a rvt file based on family?

Anyone know how to encrypt a rvt file based on family? The rvt file is locked, it can not be open without the correct family.

Is this functionality you are looking for or something you are experiencing with an actual file?

I mean how do you add the family to the project if you can't open the project, sounds a bit chicken and egg.
