Add Custom Columns to Key Schedule

Hello,

I need to show custom data in a key schedule. I was able to add additional rows to the schedule, and to write some text into each cell, but I can't find a way to add additional columns to the schedule. I added shared parameters to the category I used (Room), but from what I understand, it's impossible to show shared parameters in their own column.

 

The screenshot shows my schedule, and I want to add additional columns to the right.

 

Can anybody help me?

 I added shared parameters to the category I used (Room), but from what I understand, it's impossible to show shared parameters in their own column.

Sounds like you are doing everything right. As it doesn't work, I guess, parameters should not be shared, but only local (and only a n instance parameter).

When you create a key schedule, you can add a parameter.

Also, when you click "Add Parameters...", you can create only instance parameter.

So, check you parameters' properties. Cat Tongue

Oh, sorry, I didn't notice in my RSS-feed, that it was the revit api forum... I guess, the author wants to make this via API...
