Website shows Sign in link (as if not signed in). Can still post messages.

Steps to reproduce
I visited the forums page and the website shows the Sign in link (leads me to beleive I'm not logged in). But yet I can still post to the forums and IdeaStations -- they even correctly show my username as the author.
It seems that when I close the browser, the website is retaining my login info but when I come back, it thinks it needs to show me the sign in link.

Expected results
If I'm signed in, I should see options to view my profile, my inbox and other things. I should NOT see a Sign in link. I should not be able to post messages.

Actual results
I still see the Sign in link which makes me think I'm not signed in. But I can post messages and they correctly show my username as the author.

@doni49 10+years now, your post is one of hundreds+ about it. If they could have fixed it, or could fix it, we would not be here today chatting about it.

You're never signed out if you can reply to posts and see new vs old post in a forum: use those visual clues instead. We all do.

Sure it should be fixed: see my first sentence.
