How about a general Revit Forum?

When I posted an idea to the Architectural Revit Forum some minutes ago, I did so because there is no general Revit forum to be had (well maybe revitforum.org). The the idea would be to introduce that.

Just because one's own background is in architecture does not necessarily mean the questions cannot be answered by other user factions of Revit.

Maybe general Revit is a bit too martial. How about a Basic Revit Forum.

Your suggestion to introduce a "Basic Revit Forum" is a thoughtful idea, especially considering that Revit is used across various disciplines, not just architecture. A general or basic Revit forum could serve as a central hub for users from different backgrounds—be it architecture, engineering, construction, or design—to exchange ideas, ask questions, and share solutions. This approach would encourage cross-disciplinary collaboration and make it easier for users to find answers that aren't confined to a specific field. It would also foster a more inclusive community where all Revit users can contribute and learn, regardless of their specialization.

I've voted for this because I agree that general Revit platform related questions should have a forum of their own, but did you know that you can search within every Revit forum at once by changing "This board" to "This category".  I didn't, but I just figured it out.
