Update origin by typing coordinates instead of selecting point
Now you can update origin into a point but it would be wonderful if you could update origin by typing the coordinates. Right now the point where you want to update the origin needs to be there. Often the origin does not have any points.
This would be extremely useful for my workflow, as often I have to go through a painful back-and-forth dance between Recap and Autocad if I am going to share a pointcloud with another company. Being able to simply reassign the origin's coordinates with direct text input would save me a ton of time.
The reality is Revit is broken! using shared coordinates is out of the question if we are using a country's coordinate system. If we receive data from another surveyor that has used GPS coordinates we always either have to bring in centre to centre in Revit or we have to update to a local origin in Recap. As the OP suggests the origin coordinate we need to use may not have been scanned, usually because it is somewhere to the south west of the site. Please let us type origins in this is a must for any good surveyor.
To add to this, it may also be useful to be able to apply a rotation value to the origin, to correct it to a project North from a true North.
If this is done we can simply import into Revit Origin to Origin and be able to rely on the graphical positioning.

I had given up hope and thought ReCap was no longer in development. Great to here that our ideas are being integrated again. My guys have plenty more, so I will redirect them to the knowledge base.

Please make this happen Autodesk. I really need a simple way of transforming the origin from OSGB to local so Inventor can use it, while knowing the exact transform coords to return the completed model to clients
