Setting Point Cloud Origin

I would like to see additional functionality in ReCap when resetting the origin.  I have found that, on occasion, the model can be thrown wildly out of position, depending on the point you pick as the new origin.  I don't just mean in the XY plane - it could throw the model off AROUND the X or Y axis.  Would it be possible to extend the UI to include the ability to select planes to use as the XY and XZ planes for the new orientation of the point cloud.  By that, I am thinking about the same functionality used to identify planes that we then assign to regions.

So, we pick a point, ReCap finds the plane, we set that as the XY plane and repeat for the XZ plane.

Having thought about this a bit more, it has become obvious to me that we really need the ability to position a point cloud at known coordinates other than 0,0,0.  We do a lot of offshore work where the module being surveyed is tied back to a platform or module datum, but that datum might not actually be included in the point cloud.  We would, however, know the X, Y and Z of a survey point, or we might know the X or Y or Z of some primary structure that HAS been surveyed and this would serve to locate the point cloud in space.

So, to expand on my original idea, the UI might work as follows:

1. The user picks a point and ReCap surveys the surrounding area to identify the best fit plane at that point. 
2. The user is then asked to identify which major axis that plane lies on (N, E, S, W).
3. The user is then asked to enter the Easting or Northing of that plane.
4. The user picks a point on a plane that is perpendicular to the first one.
5. The user is then asked to enter the Northing or Easting of that point.
6. The user picks a point on a horizontal plane.
7. The user is then asked to enter the desired elevation of that point.
8. 1-3 are repeated for the ground (floor) or ceiling plane
