You should be able to views scans on your iPad, or any mobile device, without the requirement of purchasing a Recap Pro subscription. We have clients that would like to view scans on their iPad, but Autodesk doesn't have this simple capability.
You may be able to view those scans if they signup for a recap viewer web browser. Then you could view a scan that was uploaded and made public, I think
