Add the ability to re-index an existing project, or simply a "save-as" option. Currently, the only way I know how to assign registration information to each scan is by exporting to .e57 and then re-importing the .e57 into a new project. Our clients often want the ability to load individual scans or groups of scans into Revit, AutoCAD, etc. We also run into issues when we merge sections of a project together and only the .rcp contains the registration and adding new areas can sometimes "break" the original registration. Also, writing the registration for each scan retains the survey control values of an alignment to "real world" control and new scans can be added to an existing project without the need to remove the survey targets, register new scans and then reapply survey targets. I understand why keeping scans independent of registration can be valuable, but having the ability to re-index a project can be equally important.
