Please consider the following improvements for the distance measurement tool(s):
- Make surface area measurement possible - it would be very useful to measure the surfaces' areas without going through other software. It is very often that ReCap is used to inspect existing building and plan projects, so instead of using dimensions and then manual calculations for areas, it would be very useful to have an automated way of doing this in ReCap Pro
- Allow temporary changing of the dimensioning plan (e.g. define the dimension direction) for situations when the building is not exactly aligned with X, Y, or Z directions of the project. Currently, to do that you would need to temporarily change the origin of the project. It would be nice for the freehand dimension to have an intermediate step to define a dimensioning direction or to keep it free
- Make snapping to points easier. When you have a high density of points and trying to place a dimension, you hover the mouse over an area of points but it's not very clear what point(s) will be selected. Common practice is to isolate the points as much as possible but that is pretty much time-consuming.
