Connect scans before Auto Registration

When I have made some scans of a street in the order 1,2,3,4 and 5. Recap Auto Registration sometimes connect it 1,3,2,4,5 or 1,4,3,2,5 or something similar. I would like to tell Recap before Auto Registration which scans it can connect to. Like scan 2 is connected to 1 and 3, scan3 is connected to 2 and 4, and 4 is connected to 3 and 5.

I was thinking about drag and drop the scan spheres on top of each other during the 'Index Scans' proces. Example in the attached picture. This is actually how these scans are connected.

I think this would give it a better accuracy and will speed up the process. This would also solve that Auto Registration can't find a connection, but find it directly when I open both scans in Manual registration.

This is a GREAT idea. Especially if you mapped your scans out on paper and could roughly place the scan "visually".

FARO SCENE allows you to "manually" roatate and move scans by eye and when it gets close, looks the scan in.

This also allows for a VERY robust way of placing scans manually instead of pick points. This in one thing SCENE does better.

This would also be very helpful when registering the scan data from 2 or more scanners which were run at the same time. Currently it seems like recap uses the scan number as the sequence to be used when considering what to register together which can work fine with a single scanner. I have run multiple scanners on the same job at the same time adjacent to one another but it takes a considerable amount of time for Recap to run through the lower numbered scans from one scanner to reach the higher numbered scans from the second scanner and often does not make a connection.
