The new classification system in ReCap Pro 2026 is causing significant delays during the saving process — even when classifications are not needed. For users working with clean scan data intended for external modeling or analysis (e.g., Scan-to-BIM workflows), these delays add unnecessary processing time with no benefit.
Previous versions (e.g., ReCap 2023) allowed for greater control — either skipping classification entirely or canceling it mid-process. Please consider adding a toggle or checkbox in project settings or preferences to disable classification and bypass "saving classifications" during save/export operations.
This would greatly improve performance for power users and professionals who need speed and simplicity over automated classification. Reintroducing this control would be a welcome return of functionality that many relied on in earlier versions.
