I used Recap Photo to create a 3D image. That worked. Then I tried using an rotating platform. That didn't work. Is it possible to create a 3D object with photos that are made with a fixed camera position and on object on a rotating platform? If this is nog possible with recap photo, which software is able to work with a rotating platform?

Hi @Anonymous ,

Yes, it's possible.

While rotating the table, the Background or the object should remain uniform in terms of the lighting and the position of the object.

If you do want to move the object as well, I suggest wrapping a white cloth around your rotating table and then placing the object on it. This way the engine will have no idea that you moved the object as the bg will be white. To get this right, make sure to use diffused lighting.

I will need to look at a few images you have captured on the rotating table to get an idea.
