register / combine / orient multiple Recap files

Hi new to this forum, but have been using Recap for about 2 months now. How does one go about orienting two different slam scans to each other? For example, I shot one SLAM point cloud for the interior of a building; I then shot another for the exterior. They are both processed and imported into the same recap project, but there is no option to register them / orient them to each other. Not sure where do do this.   There is no register option when I import them, and I dont think I actually want to register them, because I like them being toggleable when I am in the software.

Hi Andy,

There are several possible reasons why registration may not work:

1. Do you have any license (or at least trial license) to ReCap? Registration is a feature that is locked and only enabled if you have valid ReCap license.

2. Are the scans structured (have RealView) or are they unstructured (point cloud only)? Registration only works for structured scans.

If it's slam it's just point cloud.
