Recap Scan Data not Visible

I had just finished registering / indexing a decent size capture (~60 scans). I was checking the registration through various Limit Box adjustments and deleted one of the scans. I had isolated a scan by ALT-Clicking the visibility of one of the scans. I attempted to ALT-Click a second time to make them all visible again that nothing happened. I then clicked each scan individually to get them to all show back up.

I 'Reset' the Limit Box and all of the point cloud data is no longer visible... I can see the scanner spheres. All of the scan locations are visible on the side panel. I can enter registration mode and everything shows up fine. If I attempt to use the view cube to see top / side / corner views it zooms in so the origin grid fills the entire screen.

On the right side, above your Scan Locations, there is Scan Regions

maybe the region "unassigned points" , which may contain all points, is set to invisible ?

If you cannot solve it.

Start a new Project.

Import the RCS files from the support folder of this project and skip registration upon import.

This import is much faster than importing the original files.

I tried all of the normal visibility settings. I needed to add another 30 scans to the project, so I imported the new scans, registered them manually and upon finishing the new registration, everything was visible again. Was not able to reproduce or figure out what happened

I am facing the same issue. After registration and geo referencing, the point cloud is not visible though the image spheres are visible at the correct coordinates.

Try reset the limit box and adjust the far / near plan in the project setting.

Thanks,

Yan
