Recap Pro 2020 Importing Problems

Hello,

I have a problem when i try to import files to Recap. When i drag files to Recap, files always stuck at pending level. And when i try to index, again stuck at pending level. I already try uninstall  and reinstall, downloaded last version 6.1.0.71.

How can i fix this problem?

Hi @Anonymous ,

What is the raw scan format? 

There are some cases that the scan format might be new and ReCap may not support it yet, it will hang at importing phase.  For example, if it is Faro scan, you need to install latest Faro SDK to support scans from new scanners. 

Could you share more information in the scans so that we can help or work on an update for it?

Thanks for your answer, and apologies for i am late to answer this. I try to import .fls type scan data that i download from linkedin learning. The name of education is Recap Workflow. It must be work but in this computer it does not work. I really dont understand why?

You may need to install latest Faro Scene SDK to support the import of your Faro scans.

I just want to point out that installing the faro SDK fixed this for me! 

I just spend 12k$ on this pc and it was stalling on a single fls file import for HOURS, nothing moved. I was going crazy ! 

Installing the sdk worked perfectly, only had to launch the .exe, bam, fixed
