Recap Photo save xml GPC Issue

Hi group,

 

When I copy from excel the GPC, the filter works correctly

but

when i save the xml GPC, the Filter by GPS not working.

Some how I am not able to reproduce your issue on my side.

 

Here is what I did.

 

1. After loading the Photos, I started GCp Editor and copy pasted the GCP table from Excel to GCP editor.

2. On clicking on any of the GCP, it was filtering the images correctly.

3. then I clicked on Save button and saved xml file.

4. After that I clicked on some other GCP from the table and that filtered the images correctly.

 

Can you please try reloading of XMl which was saved and see your filter works?

I did the following:

 

1. open Recap Photo

2. I first copy/paste from excel

3. then i load the photos

4. the filter working properly

5. when i save and load xml GPC. not working properly (always says - Displaying image: 0 of 214)

in this final image i save xml GCP, and you can appreciate the filter is not working properly. (always says - Displaying image: 0 of 214)

Is it that when it is saved in xml GPC, the coordinate system is not saved corractament?

Hello @gustavo.bergoya

 

The recommended workflow is to load the photos first and then either copy/paste it from excel or Load the existing xml.

 

Back to your problem, when you say filter is not working, is the case when you are loading the xml first and then loading the photos? (we have fixed the issue related to the GPS filter when user loads the GCP xml first and then loads the photo, fix will be available in future releases of ReCap Photo.)
