Recap doesn't load on my new laptop.

Hello All,

 

I recently bought new laptop it is HP Zbook Studio THe hardware is:

 

CPU: Intel Ultra 9 185H

GPU: RTX A3000 ADA

RAM: 64 GB

But when I installed Recap and would like to run a point cloud ( I already did the point cloud on my older Razer laptop). Recap doesn't load at all and stuck on the startup. Can someone help me?

Also the laptop is updated and graphic driver is the most up to date one.  I expected this laptop to be much stronger than my previous laptop.

If the issue is the hardware do you have specific suggestion for hardware?

Hi @amirhossein.jafarii ,

 

There have been startup issues with the latest drivers released by Nvidia. We are working on a fix for that. In the meantime, the workaround is to either disable the Welcome Screen dialog in ReCap Pro or revert to drivers from February 2025. This issue has been fixed with the latest hotfix released for ReCap Pro 2026 on 2 June 2025. You may access the hotfix via Autodesk Access or under Product Updates at manage.autodesk.com.
