Last year I downloaded free ReCap 360, in 2017 after some updates I see "Your trial has expired" (but it was a free version!).
I decided to use a subscribtion to ordinary ReCap 360 (price was around 7 euros/month), but at the moment I see that only ReCap 360 PRO is available (40 euros/months).
I do not think I need additional features of the PRO version. Are different versions available at all or is ReCap 360 PRO the only available version?
OK, I understand that and will try activating ReCap 360 to get it elevated to ReCap 360 Pro.
I will try one more time because it seems like you are missing my larger point. You said that if ReCap was on a subscription, it would not force an update. I'm telling you that even with ReCap 360 on a subscription, it will shut down and force the user to update. So it seems like it's only if you are on a subscription to ReCap 360 _Pro_ that it does not force an update.
I'll just leave it at that. I hope you will take that into consideration in your future posts and perhaps the developers will make a change so that _all_ users on a subscription are no longer forced to update to continue to use the program.
Thanks,
Mike

Autodesk ReCap is constantly evolving, adding new features and services, and fixing defects to make working with reality data easier for our customers. In an effort to provide the best experience and support we encourage all users to be on the latest version of the software.
This has always been one of my favourite things about Recap, the constant and strong development. However being FORCED to update, and let's not kid ourselves Autodesk is now FORCING us to update by a certain date/time is ludicrous! if the version i have installed is working fine and i don't have any issues with the way it is running or my security, why on earth should i be FORCED to update it? more importantly, what happens when you are in a situation where you can't update it and need to, but you want to use the software? (like i am now!!) it doesn't look good to potential new users when you are locked out of the free software.
