Poor mesh model quality in autodesk 3DS Max after exporting fbx from ReCap Photo

I've  exported highest  quality fbx from ReCap Photo but when I opened it in 3ds max it is really low quality.

I need to continue modelling in 3ds max but this quality is not acceptable.

What do I need to do?

Please help me!

Here are the screenshots of the same fbx in recap and in 3ds max.

Good evening, Tatjana!

In ReCap Photo there are non one standard path to export data as file formats "advanced" (also there are ways dependently your finish software - "quick export")

Did you tried both paths?

Best regards,

Yes, I have tried...also with obj format as they are both suitable for acad and 3ds max.

Hi @Anonymous ,

One way to verify if the textures are exporting correctly is to reload the FBX onto Recap Photo again and verify if the textures look the same in Photo itself.  Recap Photo converts the FBX into RCM and displays in Photo.

Also wanted to check if you had modified the initial model in ReCap Photo. If you did, it would be best to rebake the textures before export.

Thanking You.

Warmest Regards,
