We are using point cloud in our Revit project for the first time. I have been given the task to check that the point cloud we received is in correct position/coordinate. as I understand, the x,y value (UTM) when converted to Latlong will correspond to specific location using google earth. Then there is the Z-value. I have no reference where does the Z value came from? i do not understand why sometimes it has negative value. is it distance from "Above Sea Level"? is it distance from Geoid? if Yes in any answer, is there any website proving this correct? thank you soooo much
