No Access to Autodesk Connected Drive

Hey all,

Saw the new Scan to mesh features and wanted to test it out in the new Recap. However, it says i have no access to Autodesk Connected Drive... Is there another program i have to install to link it to the cloud based service or am i missing something? Also, has anyone tried it on large building scans? Most examples i see are smaller objects or rooms but would be interested in how it handles larger spaces.

Hi @digitalDGVU2 ,

This is indicating that your Autodesk Drive is not set up or mounted in your windows explorer.

To get this setup:

1) Got to drive.autodesk.com and login with the credentials you used in ReCap Pro.

2) Now once you logged in: There may or may not be a setup initiated depending on if you had already done it before.

3) Now right click on the Desktop Connector icon located at the bottom right corner of your taskbar and click "Refresh Drives". Make sure you see Autodesk Drive has been mounted to your windows explorer window.

4) Restart ReCap Pro and it should detect and now you should have access to your Autodesk Drive correctly.

Hope this helps.

Thanking You.

Warmest Regards,
