I took nearly 50 photos of JPEG format, trying to import it into the recap pro, but its not showing any kind of option to import the JPEG files.

I tried to drag & drop the files, but again its showing as invalid file.

can some one please help me to overcome this issue, and tell me how to import JPEG files into the RECAP PRO.

Hello @PROJECTSBGKNB
For what purpose are you trying to import jpeg into ReCap Pro?
I hope you confused ReCap Pro with ReCap Photo.
It is ReCap Photo that is designed for photogrammetric processing of photographs.

If I understood you correctly, then here I have answered your question.

@Maksim.Melnikov.BY

thank you for your reply. it gave me a little clarity of what i was doing.

I am trying to create outline drawing of a old small boat in Inventor, for which i need to take pictures of the boat from several angle, then i need to import these collection of JPEG files it into Recap photo to create .rcm file.

once this .rcm file is created, I hope i can import it into recap pro for further required editing.

afterwards, the file can be imported into inventor further to create the outline drawing.

please correct me if I am wrong or if i missed any steps in between.

thank you

Hello @PROJECTSBGKNB
I'm glad you have a view of the workflow.
I want to say right away that 50 photos may not be enough to build a good model in ReCap Photo.
If you want to use the ReCap Photo model for solid modeling, there are two ways you can go:
1. Import RCP point cloud model into Inventor. It is generated automatically when processing a project in ReCap Photo, if you have checked the box in the project processing menu. It will be available in your project folder. Previously, you can adjust the point cloud in ReCap Pro.
2. Export RCM mesh-model from ReCap Photo to OBJ format. Import it into Inventor.
