How to align scan points

Can someone please help me with adding points to alight scans. I have no idea how this works and it should not be this difficult. The green dot doesn't even add to anything when I click it. Are there any videos or tutorials????

Hi @andrew.stubbsHYG6H ,

Are you in intensity mode? If Yes, Could you switch to color mode? Also, are you using 3 point method for Registration? If Yes, you need to select 3 distinct points (planes and corners) on the left pane scan and match the same with the scan from the right pane.

I literally cannot even click to add points. The green dot comes up but when I click it doesn't place anything at all. I've watched this tutorial and it doesn't help as I can't place any connection dots.

Hi @andrew.stubbsHYG6H ,

Could you try clicking on any non-black areas of the scans? The reason is I do not see color information in your scans and the minimap on top also looks blank.
