How much does recap cost?

Do I have to pay extra for using it for aerial imagery and Ground Control Points?

If I have around 1000 images for a map how much would it cost me?

How does it work compared to other software or services like Photoscan or Drone Deploy?

Most importantly, will I be able to create DEMs? How accurate would they be?

It is pay in cloud credits, don't know how much do you have when you buy it.
Recap Photo is a little poor compare to others
Can't create accurate dem's

A subscription to ReCap PRO gives you entitlements to both ReCap PRO and ReCap Photo.

Using ReCap Photo will consume cloud credits for processing at the following rates:

1 to 300 photos will use 12 cloud credits

301 to 700 photos will use 30 cloud credits

701 to 1,000 photos will use 55 cloud credits

It does not cost anything extra to at Ground Control Points (GCP's)

The models ReCap Photo creates are quite accurate, especially if you geolocate them and use Ground Control points. 

The photos you use have a great impact on the quality of the end model, and you need to assign atleast 4 photos to each GCP for accuracy.

100 trial credits will come with your download of the application. 

Afterwards you can purchase cloud credits by following the process in this article or by contacting your preferred reseller.

I can't find out how much it costs per credit, from what I have seen it's $1 per credit.

There is not enough technical information, or pricing information on cloud credits or recap, I'll just buy Agisoft Photoscan Pro and a $2000 PC rebuild rather than deal with little price cuts that within a year will end up costing me more than actually physically owning the hardware
