Help with Lost Data After Saving in Scan to Mesh Editor

Hello,

After editing a file in the Scan to Mesh Editor and saving it, the file became completely empty. I can still open the file as a .rpc, and the layers I created in the Scan Editor are still listed, but no points or data appear when I try to view them.

Does anyone know why this might have happened, and if there's any way to recover the file or the lost data?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Best regards

Deniz

Hi @d_birinci ,

Sounds concerning. Where abouts on your drives was the project saved? Locally or via a connected drive (e.g. onedrive or ACC Desktop Connector?).

We can try to take a look at the project for you, are you able to zip up the "model" folder that is contained in the "Support" folder of the ReCap project, and send it over?
I will DM you my details

Thanks,

Mike Deacon

Hello,

I think I found the issue: I deleted the .rcs file, not realizing it was important.

Thank you for offering your help, and sorry for worrying you!
