Gopro 4?

Pretty straight forward. How are the specs for the gp 4 going to fit in here? I might have to cash in on a warranty on my hero 3 black and will be forced to upgrade.

Yes, we are working to support the Hero 4 but it is not ready at this time. We will make an announcement once it is officially ready for use. As of right now, we still recommend the 3+ black edition.

Hi,

The silver 3 edition should be supported, but there is still no official confirmation.

Please allow a couple of days about the new status with GoPro lenses and we'll make sure to inform you on our pages.

Thank you,

Mitko

I have just purchased a Go Pro Hero 4 Black as I am using it for my college dissertation. Have you any idea as to when or if the camera will be supported or should I return it to shop?! Will it roughly be before the new year or after the new year?

Any update?

I am going to buy another GoPro but told that only Hero 4 was available in the market.

There is still no official update regarding the GoPro4. However the viable workflow still remains of defishing the images in some other app prior to uploading to ReCap360.

But no direct support is available yet.

We'll make sure to inform you at the moment when any change occurs.

Thank you,

Mitko

This is what I was told to do with my Go Pro 4 Black camera and it works fine!!

- Select your pictures in Windows

- Right-click -> Properties -> Details Tab

- Scroll-down to the property field named "Camera model" (under "Camera" section) and replace "HERO4 Black" with "Hero3-Black Edition".

- Click Apply (might take up to a minute if you have a hundred of pictures)

- Your pictures are ready to be uploaded on the ReCap Photo service !

Thanks for the reply. This site is very helpful as the response comes just overnight!

My project has over 200 gopro photos for about 1 acre infrastructure project site. It must be time consuming task if I need to change property one by one...

It should work while you have all the images selected, then right click on single one and click "Properties"

The change should be applied to all.
