One of my users pointed this out to me this morning. Depending on where you are at in the scan makes a difference in file size when you save. If I am zoomed out to the Home view, my file size (of the RCP file) becomes very small (100K) but if I zoom in to inside the scan somewhere, my file size will jump to much larger (2000K). If I zoom back out to home, the file size goes back down to small again. Is this normal? I certainly don't understand all the math and database action going on behind the scenes but this just seems to be a bit weird to me.
We are using release 2.2.0.27

Hey Paul,
This is due to the 'preview' image for each project. Each project has an image that embedded in the RCP that we use for the home screen, etc. The size of this image can change depending on the amount and variance of the data/colors in it (like any compressed image). That's why the RCP size can change even when you didn't add/remove anything from the project.

Thanks Ryan, I kinda figured that's what it was a couple of hours after posting it but never got back here. Now I can let my user know with confidence! Thanks!!
