It sounds like you might have your iPad recap mobile setup to automatically delete a project after you download it to desktop. I would be very careful about setting it like that. Sometimes you have to redownload something I would set it to manually delete the scan jobs on your iPad. It only deletes the scans on the iPad and not on the scanner itself -you must go into the scanner settings to delete the files on the scanner itself. That being said you may be able to create another project and download those same scans manually to the iPad from the scanner when it's turned on and synced and then try and reimport the entire project to desktop. I've had to do that already.

Thanks for the response, but no project will upload and I'm certainly disappointed by the lack of official ReCap forum response!!!!

@james_oneill,

I would suggest to download scans from BLK360 and then try transferring to ReCap Pro desktop application again. Make sure to create project locally to your hard drive. Let me know if this helps.

Thank you and have a great day!

Unfortunately recap can't import data coming from the BLK directly (*.blk-files). There are some Ideas to solve this issue. E.g. here or here

Sometimes I have the same problem, that recap doesn't recognize the ipad. In my case the solution is to exit recap, starting itunes to establish a conection to the ipad, and restart recap again (without closing itunes).

Thanks Jesse for the post and attention to the subject links...unfortunately, the desktop won't import from the ReCap mobile app either...so I think I'll uninstall and reinstall both ReCap desktop pro and photo...will keep you posted...Best, James

I concur. Same problem here many times
Same solution works.
Same thing happens when you go to open up Windows Explorer and get pictures directly off off the iPad it's a apple thing

The other thing is that the recap mobile app on the iPad must be open when trying to establish the connection and you must be on the project that you're going to download I Believe.
Make sure you load the latest version of recap pro I believe it's 5.1.30
