Any idea why my scans looks like this? 

The scannings are from a FARO 70S model

Hi @Anonymous ,

Have you installed latest FaroSdK to support the scanner type? 

Could you share a sample .fls file with us?

Hey, I have the same issue, however i also have the FaroSdk File installed. so I'm not sure what the problem here is.
Now on the Scene LT i can generate my scan and then export it but what is the point of having AutoCAD Recap then? Can't I open those .fls straight from Recap? or am i doing something wrong.

Quick update,

when you are importing the scans and go to advanced settings and have a decimation grid too high (it was on 2mm on my pc by default since install) it will create a picture like above. however setting it back to 0mm solved my problem
