I’d like to suggest a feature that could really expand the flexibility of the Parts Browser: the ability for users to add their own custom-modeled parts to a personal library.
Currently, when editing a part by using the Cut and Combine tools, I am not able to save that Part and access it later in another bash. Being able to save custom parts to a personalized library would make the workflow much more powerful and personal.
How this could work is:
- Allow users to save a selected part as a custom part
- Create a 'My Parts' sections within the Part Browser
- Support naming and tagging custom parts
- Enable drag-and-drop of the custom parts just like existing parts in the Part Browser
This could turn the Parts Browser into not just a static library, but a dynamic tool that evolves with each user.
