Why Autodesk stop for giving activation code for CAD v2010 and older?

We have to change new PC/laptop instead of the old/fault one. So we need to re-install CAD also.

But now we can't get the activation code for CAD v2010 and v2009 because Autodesk stopped supporting for these version.

But why? And if so, we have to throw these old version licenses and upgrade all by buying new licenses?

Few reasons ... once there isn't a compatible system any more to run it. 

Windows 10 won't run it.  Windows 7 has been retired

I would recommend updating your versions to the software to a current one. You might be able to trade it in for something. I would check with your Reseller or with the Autodesk Online store

Our reseller also give us the Autodesk policy for stopping to support CAD 2010 and older. And they also don't have any solutions. 😔

They did it because of GREED and nothing more.We are still ''numbers'' to them no matter their new slogan...

If you have a original perpetual software, than you can send them the response code(obtained via offline activation) and they will give you a generated code to install your software.This is the preferred way.

If for some reason they play dumb and don't provide support for what you payed for, the European law says its OK to crack open the software and continue to use it for as long as you like(always when it was legally purchased)

Not true, I am currently running AutoCAD 2010 on 3 Windows 10 machines.  I understand they can't support the software all versions of a software fore ever, but, when you sell a license as "perpetual" (meaning never ending) and you want to suspend "support" for it, you should put out a patch for that software that removes the need for an activation code, allowing the owner of said license to continually use their "perpetual" license.  So as it sits now they have sold millions and millions of copies of a "perpetual" (never ending) software license under false pretenses.  They should rectify the situation or be held responsible.

Perpetual and permanent are quite different. In order for something to be perpetual, a certain set of circumstances has to remain in place. Something that is permanent remains despite adverse circumstances.

Haha . . . only in the Autodesk world.

Autodesk should issue a patch for all older version you no longer support which removes activation so that we can continue to use our software.

Real world, too. You might want to research perpetual. It is quite different from permanent. That is why they do not have to continue activating when the conditions have changed. Unless you've got a machine that meets the system requirements, they don't have to continue activations.

Now, what do you mean "Unless you've got a machine that meets the system requirements? I have machines that will run AutoCAD 2010, will they give me activation codes? IF so, why would they not release a patch for that particular version and remove the activation? That would appease A LOT of their customers that purchased a perpetual license and feel like they are getting screwed.
