Upgrading my computer

I currently have AutoCAD 2015.  My Subscription to Autodesk expired in 2016.

I am about to upgrade my computer's operating system and memory so I will be starting from scratch.  How do I transfer my AutoCAD 2015 software once I upgrade my operating system?  I didn't save any of the install files, if they even exist.  I see that Autodesk no longer supports 2015.  What are my options?

Without a disk or installer you have saved, there is nothing you can do to move the program from an old computer to a new computer to use it. Sorry. Autodesk does not store old software, they expect you to store your own downloads since you paid so much money for it all (if it was a stack of dollar bills you'd know where it is safely stored, right? same for expensive software downloads and disks).

Search the web for disks or downloads from 3rd party sites that will expect you to pay $$ for the privilege, just be careful, lots of scammers out there.

Note: your AutoCAD2015 is not fully designed for in Win10 http://autode.sk/1IY4C2X

Your 2015 software is also designed to stop reauthorizing as of March 2021, which may get triggered by a Win10 update, so have a backup plan in place that is going to cost you $$ to fix https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/learn-explore/caas/simplecontent/content/previous-ver...

As a general rule, old software needs to be best maintained on old computers/operating systems: If you still have your old Win7 PC and all works well, hang on to it for as long as it will last, get a new computer for whatever else you need as a separate device.

Thanks for your reply.

If I do manage to find the install files to a 2015 (or perhaps 2016) version of AutoCAD, will Autodesk support my license transfer?  How is this done?  Your answer might've been in the last link you provided but that link is now broken.

Link works fine, try this new copy I just used https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/learn-explore/caas/simplecontent/content/previous-ver...

AutoCAD2015 license transfer tool on your old computer may or may not work, it has to be valid, it was not used to upgrade to a newer version, and more. Autodesk abandoned the transfer concept a few versions back: your 2015 HELP should explain how to use it if you want to give it a try. There is a risk of loss of software usage, so have a backup plan.

You might also be able to just install it on the new computer, then authorize and run it as an alternative like you did way back when, if not, you can contact Autodesk here https://knowledge.autodesk.com/contact-support/installation-activation
