Hi,
after program restart?
What program / what os?
Does it work by type in
Command: _.PUBLISH
?
Perhaps you need a "reset to default"
Sebastian
This is a problem on a couple different computers which are windows 11 and running AutoCAD LT. It worked fine when I was on Win10. Rebooting is not a solution; the others have had this ongoing for year(s). I am trying to resolve it so we can continue to batch plot / publish multiple sheets at once.
I asked: Does restart solve the problem.
You answered "not a solution".
Does it mean Publish don't work, also after restart.
from win10 updated to Win11 while acad was installed,
or did you install Acad on win11.
Oh man. Acad 2016?
Hey, it's not designed to run on win11,
That's gambling (your game) - I am out.
Reinstall with adminrights, run the furst start with admin rights.
Test publish.
Remove Admin rights, test it again.

My computer is shut down every night at COB and restarted every morning and publish has never worked on this PC. As mentioned, there is another co-worker with the same problem. He also shuts down at the end of the day and restarts it in the AM.

Oh man. Acad 2016? Yes 2016LT

Reinstall with adminrights, run the first start with admin rights.
Test publish.
Remove Admin rights, test it again. I don't know if I fully understand this suggestion. It was installed with admin rights. If I run as admin the command is still unknow.

Try Reset to default
Try Repair Install
Try new install, and take a look to my linked thread
UAC, disabled anti-virus, and all the hints could help
Sorry, that's not so easy to help in this case.
(And why you do not have any LT updates installed?)
Sebastian
"...And why you do not have any LT updates installed?..."
And there is the solution. I applied AutoCAD LT 2016 SP1 and now publish is working.
@amy_bellotta There is no fix for your old software in Windows11, sorry
