r14 on windows 10

Anyone had any luck with finding a gdifont3.hdi that works with Windows 10?  Program opens showing error, pull downs work.  Real close.  I had to add the Heidi3.dll first but it opens looks right has some functionality.  Any ideas?

Don't like not having my drawing program.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I didn`t test it fully (acad 14 in it`s fully function) since I was only curious if I could install it at all on a modern system. So there could be some issues with some functions (which you prob. found out), sorry for that. I didn`t have had enough time for that.

i tried to follow the instructions. But i am not sure if i got the correct "SH31W32.DLL" file from the link provided. Which is about installing R14 on a vista system. So i tried searching a bit more and got link that got me a zip file containing GDIFONT3.HDI, HEIDI3.DLL and SH31W32.DLL. So i installed them in the R14 folder. (after deleting the original SH31W32.DLL. 

I am able to run R14 via winevdm. But when i try to save settings like my preferred snap (via DDOSNAP), it errors. 

"FATAL ERROR: Unhandled access violation exception at 6fc093fh"  

any ideas?

I started with Autodesk Release 2.X, hopefully not giving my age away. 😁 , for me R13 and R14 will always be the best of the best DOS cad software programs ever... ended my career teaching drafting/design and always included topics related to R13 and R14.
