2013 is not supported on Windows 11. Downgrade the OS back to Windows 10

Thanks. Do I need to uninstall the 2013 software, downgrade to Windows 10, and reinstall AutoCAD?

Not sure if you need to uninstall 2013 LT but the following guide from MS states that if you upgraded from 10 to 11, you only have 10 days to downgrade back to 10 otherwise you'll have to do a clean install of 10 in that case a new install of 2013 LT. But you may encounter problems attempting to reactivate such an old version of AutoCAD  LT since Autodesk has stopped activating older versions.

Thanks. Exactly what I thought. I asked for a code inorder to reinstall my 13 ony new laptop that comes with Windows 11. The cad installation code is now used up. At this point I need a new code from Autodesk in order to attempt again installing cad 13 on my new laptop re-setup with my old windows 10 OS. Hopefully I will get a new code from Autodesk. Any suggestions?

If you're not on subscription, you most likely will not be able to activate such an older version of LT. It's time to jump onto the subscription wagon.

I got a new code today and worked for the installation on OS 11. If OS 11 is the problem I should be given a code to try installing again with OS 10. I currently use my 13 on OS 10 and woks perfectly. Why should I spend money on subscription if the software I purchased works perfectly for my needs?

If you're able to get an activation code for 10 then great...but don't count on it.

There's a company called Longbow providing solutions to run old AutoCAD versions on new OS's. I don't have any experience with the solutions they offer but it maybe worth a try?

Hi, I am having the same issue with AutoCAD LT 15.  Can you please post updates/solution - did you receive codes from Autodesk?  Did you install other software?  Thanks!
