Has anyone tried to run Autocad 2010 on windows 11? Works well on W10. Installation was succuessfull, but can't run anything as I get Unhandled access violation writing. Tried a solution with Framework but nothing helped. Any ideas?

Even if it does work, you won't be able to get it activated.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

@dszymanczakWin11 is not a supported OS for your old software. Sorry.
Win10 might work, maybe (you'll need to downgrade, ask your laptop maker for help there).

Assuming you can get LT2010 to authorize, since Autodesk has sort of stopped making it easy to automatically do so since July of 2021.

Also Can you share the error of Unhandled Access Violation..??

(https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Fatal-....)

Thanks and Regards,

Rushabh Thakkar.

Thank You so much for Your answer. My only solution here seems to be buying W10 and installing it on my new PC. Gonna try with Framework once again, but only to ensure myself... The error is: unhandled access violation writing 0xfdcc1000 Exception at 632ae647h.

@dszymanczak

As mentioned:

No it won't work on W11, nor W10

and they are no longer activating 2010 software.

My 2010 LT worked on Win10. After upgrade to win11 i have it still installed, working but... x-refs do not work properly and "xr" command causes fatal error with file acismobj18.dbx.

Anyone got a solution how to fix it?

Use Longbow ... or you'll need to update the AutoCAD version or change the Windows version.
