Autocad lt 2010 activation code problem

I purchased autocad lt 2010 version in 2010, and downloaded it to my shop desktop and to my laptop.  One of my sons stepped on my laptop nearly a month ago crushing it, so I got another old windows 7 computer to re-install autocad into it.

I uninstalled it from the old lap top (it sill worked somewhat but screen was shattered) and installed it to the other lap top, but it asked for an activation code and is giving me 30 days...but the old code isn't working.

today is day 29...don't know what I can do.

Any advice will be helpful and appreciated..

Thanks

Software from 2010 and older is no longer activated by Autodesk, you could try asking here about the options.

when I click "here" it takes me right back to here.

I'm really not concerned about support or upgrades, I just want to use what i paid for years ago...that was working just fine until the laptop was damaged.

There should be a way for me to have access to the autocad version I purchased.  I hope so anyway..

Here should take you to https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/previous-version-support/bd-p/6051. We here are just users like yourself, how and when old software is or isn't activated is an AutoDESK decision and the people over at that other forum have more idea about what your options are and has nothing to do with upgrading it is purely the age of the software and the apparent rising cost of keeping old servers working to check antique licencing requirements. But ask over there for your options. Good luck.

@Anonymous Not what that means: Autodesk stopping support means they stop everything related to the software, and in case of 2010 and older versions, that means they unplugged all those licensing servers then toss them in the trash in the summer of the year2019.

You are very much out of luck authorizing your 2010 software on a new computer today. Sorry, that's just the reality of it all. They expect you to nurse your old computer along forever if you don't wish to upgrade.
