AutoCAD LT 2002. Can I tell from the Serial number if it is an original purchase or an upgrade? Do the first 3 digits of the serial number identify it?

If you did not purchase it directly from autodesk then you do not legally own the license. Otherwise you can contact Autodesk directly.

I own 2 copies of AutoCAD LT 2002. One serial number starts with 339 the other starts with 340. What does that mean?

I am not an expert on this but: I think it is legal to use second hand software in the EU. You should double check that. If it is, then:

If you have the Serial number, the CDkey number and the activation code, you can install and run AutoCad LT 2002 in Windows 10 Pro or 11 Pro in compatibility mode for Windows XP sp3. It is not easy to do but it is possible. You will need AutoCad LT 2002 sp1 and sp2 to do it. Otherwise, it will keep crashing.
