PowerShape 2017 x Visual Basic

A few years ago I developed several tools for PowerShape in VB, but as the company no longer had Visual Studio license I stopped ...

But now the company asked me to create some plugins for PowerShape 2017. Before I authorize the company to purchase a new Visual Basic license I would like to know if PowerShape continues to communicate with Visual Basic and whether it will continue to communicate with Visual Basic in the future?

Thanks in advanced,

Marcelo Link.

Hi

You can communicate with PowerShape and PowerMill using Visual Studio and writing your code in C# or VB.  You can use the free community edition of Visual Studio to do this which is available from the Microsoft website.

In the near future we will make an interface available to better connect with PowerShape.  Stay tuned for that.

Luke
