Model designed in powershape 2010 version not opening in powershape 2017 version

Hi there, I have recently encountered an error from Powershape 2017 while opening PSMODEL designed in powershape 2010. The warning reads in powershape 2017 is "This model contains post version 8 solids and cannot load into powermill modelling. Please help me.

Hi @Anonymous

there is probably some confusion.
PowerMILL Modeling both in the 2010 version and in the 2020 version does not allow you to import solids, before and after version 8. You can only import surfaces, modeling was born with this objective.
.psmodel 2010 may have important differences with the 2017 version (32 vs 64 bit for example).

Could you export formats like .step or .igs or .x_t (if available)?
