Hi  @Anonymous,

I have seen your query and to investigate this need some additional information to provide you with the right solution. You have 2 issues, one is missing data after importing the dwg file and another is the imported file is in scale.

For the first issue, please provide the dwg file to diagnose the issue and also let me know the PowerShape version.

For the second issue, you may fix it by the following method:

# Go to File > Options > Application Options

# In Options dialog box, under the Data Exchange > click on Data Exchange Utility > Tick on Open data exchange utility Input Resources

data exchange.PNG

# Then import the dwg file and do the below setting to get the data without scaling.

Hello @Anonymous,

Thanks for your response. Please find the attached revised dwg file and expect it will open in PowerShape without any hassle.  Check in your end and let me know the result. If my post answers your query, please click on 'Accept as Solution' button.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Thanks for your response. I am not sure, but think the dwg file is created in the latest version of AutoCAD. If you are using PowerMill 2019 version, download the Manufacturing Data Exchange Utility 2019.0.1  and install it. Then you can try to import the dwg file in exchange. Make sure in input resource change the units to mm as replied in your first query. Hope this helps you to solve the query. If anything else, please let me know.

Hi @Anonymous,

Thanks for your response. The attached error doesn't show any valid reason and also it's not understandable. So my suggestion is to update the Manufacturing Data Exchange Utility 2019.0.1 with the help of Autodesk Desktop App. And it can be found by searching field in the taskbar.
