changing UV on a surface

Hey guys, I am more of a Powemill guru than Powershape,  which is to say I can get by, buy not by much.. On this model with this pic, the surface in question is highlighted. I would like to change the UV to match the curvature of the surface, as of now I have been just recreating the surface to get what I want. I am wondering does powershape have any tools that will allow you to do this without remaking the surface?

Sorry, you can't do that without rebuilding the surface. What you have here is a fill-in type surface (probably a large plane trimmed to the boundary). For what you describe you need a drive curve or network surface, which is totally different.
