Thanks for posting in Autodesk Community!!!

As per your query, i prepared a short video how to unwrap a curve and the length of the unwrap curve close to same length as actual. But for the same point you have to add point after unwrapping the curve by Add Point option in manage toolbar. If my post answers your query, please click on 'Accept as Solution' button.
