Hello friends,

Is there a macro command to check if the Viewmill is on / off?

Good Afternoon,

I am not sure if this is exactly what you're asking but below I wrote what it will said if viewmill is on or if it's turned off.

ON: SIMULATE VIEWMILL START

OFF: SIMULATE VIEWMILL SUSPEND

Also you can quickly tell if the viewmill button is Red or Green.

Thanks for the answer.

I know how to turn the Viewmill on or off.
What I need to do is check if it's on or off. Something like:

IF Viewmill.state == 'ON' {
   code is ON...
}

2017 you can use :

widget('ViewmillBar.VMOnOff').Value    :  TRUE = 0N   FALSE = OFF

2018 :

widget('Ribbon.Simulation.ViewMill.VMOnOff').Value   same values

Tks @5axes

To figure out the value, do you add the button in the toolbar and export the toolbar as xml? open the xml and see the parameter name?

Or is there some easier way?

Just launch the MACRO Command

MENUBARHELP DYNAMIC WIDGETNAMES

Then you will have for every button or field the name of the component instead of the Help message

You can also use :

MENUBARHELP DYNAMIC FORM

To modify the settings via the Dynamic help form
