That's a very broad question I'm afraid.

You'll likely also want to look plane projection as well since they have alot of similarities.
Exactly I want to do that. It's like using a rotary strategy.
So you'd have to create a dome-shaped surface, either inside or outside of the part, in whatever 3d program you have, and then import that in as a reference surface. But for this piece it seems like a point projection would work too - surface projection just gives you more precise control.
Then you'd maybe play with your tool axis settings. Lead/Lean -> Preview Frame Normal to have it stay perpendicular to the reference surface, or maybe towards line for a more simple rotary. Depends on what kind of machine this is.

As rightly mentioned by @ksorbo6 you will need to create a cone or dome shape surface (In 3D CAD modelling software such as PowerShape) around the model to be machined. This surface can then be imported into PowerMill project as a Reference surface to be used in surface projection finishing.
Also you will need to set the workplane at the bottom center of the model with Z axis parallel to the side of the model about which you need a rotary toolpath.
I have found a video on youtube which will be of some help to you.

You'll have to excuse the place holder models. I know yours has some undercuts and such that will be likely harder to get at.
In this case it sounds like you want a toolpath that starts at the top of the head and then spirals down the model. This is a very rare case where I would probably use Point Projection.
The other option is to create a dome over the part and use a Surface Projection Finish with a U pattern Spiral. The dome you create is converted to a reference object and will not be machined, it's there just as a support for the model in general.
To get it to spiral, I *think* your reference surface needs to wrap around itself like in this picture, with the seam vertical. That I just made with a revolve command. And then also check "spiral" and use the right direction, U or V, like you see in ribble's picture
